SERVING THE CITY AND CAMPUS

Every semester, RUF's Servant Team identifies service opportunities. Last spring we partnered with New Moon Cafe (150 Cherry St.) and served meals to Burlington's homeless.

SERVING BEYOND

Spring Break 2017, RUF at UVM students partnered with Appalachia Service Project and traveled to Rainelle, WV to help rebuild a home devastated by historic flooding in 2016.

CHECK OUT ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK TRIPS

RUF is proud to support the good work being done by Alternative Spring Break (ASB). ASB is a program that provides UVM students with an opportunity to become involved in service around a variety of social issues across the nation. Each year, ASB sends out ten groups that are made up of two student leaders and eight participants. Trips in the past have focused on social issues such as homelessness, hunger, urban gardening, disaster relief, environmental conservation, and more. The cost of an ASB spring break trip is $300 (which covers all expenses including housing, meals, etc.). Financial aid is available. Applications for 2019 spring break trips are due Nov. 1, 2018.
