We were MADE for community.

Every human being is made in the image of God. For all eternity, God has existed in community—Father, Son and Spirit forever delighting in, glorifying, and loving one another. Being made in the image of a God like this has many profound implications (and applications), but one thing is for certain: life is not meant to be lived alone. We were created for community: with God and with other image-bearers.

We WERE SAVED FOR COMMUNITY.

When we put our faith/trust in Jesus, God adopts us into His family. It is a big family with lots of diverse people in it. It is within this large, extended family called "the Church" that God mediates His care to us and we discover what it means to follow Jesus and bear the family name.
